Biographical Sketch:
Erika Nowak lives in Flagstaff, AZ, where she is a part-time instructor at Northern Arizona University. She conducts herpetological surveys and snake ecology research throughout Arizona, as well as California, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. Her rattlesnake ecology and safe handling trainings are popular with federal and state management agencies, university classes, and civic groups. Erika has a PhD and an MS in Biology from Northern Arizona University, and a BS in Natural Resources from Cornell University.
