Biographical Sketch:
Emily Sherbrooke serves as outreach coordinator for the Sonoran Desert Research Station. She is responsible for coordinating publication of departmental manuscripts, and helping to get the word out on the research conducted by scientists in the department. Prior to this she spent 23 years working with scientists, first as an editor for the Office of Arid Lands Studies at the University of Arizona, and then as assistant director of the Southwestern Research Station, American Museum of Natural History, in the Chiracahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona. Before joining the SDRS, Emily took a year off to explore the outback, rainforests, and coral reefs of Australia.
