Southwestern Willow Flycatcher Breeding Habitat at the Verde River, near Tuzigoot National Monument, Arizona
Habitat is composed of a dense multi-storied mixture of tamarisk and native vegetation, ranging from 20-40 feet high. The overstory is dominated by tall cottonwoods. The patch is adjacent to the Verde River, and has a small spring-fed stream running throughout.
